Fun and simple stories are always welcomed. Children’s fantasy as a genre fits these two things perfectly. We’ve all grew up with these timeless tales that transformed us at our early stage of our development. There was once a time in anime, specifically in the 70s, where studios adapted old children’s literature from the late 19th to early 20th century. Mary and the Witch’s Flower gives off these vibes from my experience viewing it.
When is it the best time to watch an anime with cute girls in maid outfits parodying adorable anime tropes? Anytime. Whether they can be enjoyable to watch or not is anyone’s prerogative. But how often do we get these shows? Quite too often in my opinion. That being said, when one of them clicks,they become a worthwhile, laugh-out-loud experience. Continue reading
It is crazy how time flies so fast when you look back at one point of your life years ago. Looking at profile from one point to the next can certainly make you learn how someone changes.
Good golly this was a year full of crap unlike in 2014. I don’t want to be cynical about it as I do enjoy talking about anime despite it being terrible. It does provide some fun in thinking about why an anime is terrible. So let’s get right to it as usual! Continue reading
